The hierarchy change blackout, what it takes to be Ready to Sell, and Washington's required LTSS training
These are the administrative details that don't feel urgent until they stop you from writing business. Here's what Wellcare needs from you this season.
Hierarchy Change Blackout
Questions about the blackout can go to your regional agency manager.
Ready to Sell for 2027
To be Ready to Sell Wellcare for 2027, you need both the 2027 Wellcare ACT and either AHIP or NABIP. To complete ACT, log in to your Single Sign-On portal and open the Training Center in Centene Workbench.
Washington Producers: Required LTSS Training
Under Washington's Medicaid agency contract, every producer licensed in Washington must complete two Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) training modules on Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) before assisting Washington beneficiaries or members for 2027.
Required modules:
Training 1: Navigating Medicaid Long Term Services & Supports
Training 2: Financial Eligibility for Long Term Services and Supports
Steps:
Complete both DSHS LTSS training modules.
Log in to the broker portal through Centene Workbench.
Complete and submit the Washington LTSS Training Attestation.
Keep your training records for your files.
Wellcare uses your attestation to track compliance with Washington's requirement, and missing it may affect your ability to assist Washington beneficiaries and members in 2027.
