Earn $25 per Wellcare D-SNP and C-SNP HRA

A last-minute change for 2027: HRA payments are back for D-SNP and C-SNP enrollments with January 1 effective dates

You were already planning to finish the enrollment. Now spending a few extra minutes on the Health Risk Assessment earns you $25 and gets your client connected to support from day one.

Wellcare had previously set 2027 HRA payments at $0 for D-SNP and C-SNP plans effective January 1, 2027. Starting October 15, 2026, eligible brokers can earn $25 for each qualifying D-SNP or C-SNP HRA they complete with a member.

Why HRAs Matter

A Health Risk Assessment helps Wellcare understand a member's medical history, lifestyle, and social factors that may affect their health, and it helps connect members with support based on their needs. Wellcare says completing it also supports a smoother enrollment experience.

How to Complete an HRA

Enrolled through Ascend: Complete the HRA right after the enrollment, or log in to the Ascend agent portal and go to the Enrollments tab. Members with an eligible HRA show a Launch VBE button. Select it to start the assessment with your member.

Enrolled outside Ascend: Use the Standalone VBE tool to enter the member's application information and complete the assessment.
