Ascend Update: Premium Display With and Without Extra Help (LIS) Attention Valued Partner, Beginning July 8, 2026, the Ascend Enrollment Platform will include a new enhancement to help ensure members receive the most accurate premium information.

What's changing?

If an Extra Help (Low-Income Subsidy/LIS) eligibility check was not completed during the quoting process, the plan card will now display a link prompting you to complete the eligibility check. Once the Extra Help check is complete: The plan card will display the member's monthly premium with and without Extra Help (LIS), even if both premium amounts are the same. These premium amounts will also be available in the Plan Specifics section under View Details. If the eligibility check determines that the beneficiary does not qualify for Extra Help, the plan card will display only a single premium amount.

This enhancement helps provide a more complete view of plan costs, making it easier to discuss premium options with members and ensure they receive the most accurate pricing available.

This enhancement is part of our ongoing effort to support a “work smart” approach by making the enrollment process in Ascend more efficient and providing greater pricing transparency for your members.
