Capital Resumes Medicare Advantage Commissions Beginning October 1, 2026. Commission payments return for eligible Medicare Advantage enrollments with updated plan eligibility and payment details. Capital is pleased to announce that commission payments for new Medicare Advantage enrollments will resume for plans with effective dates beginning October 1, 2026.
What You Need to Know: Eligible Commissionable Plans Commissions will be paid on 8 of Capital's 10 Medicare Advantage plans. The Select PPO (where available) will pay commissions at 80% of the current CMS Fair Market Value (FMV). All other eligible commissionable plans will pay at 100% of CMS FMV. The Complete PPO and Enhanced PPO will remain noncommissionable for new enrollments throughout the remainder of 2026 and 2027. Renewal Commission Update For applications submitted during the previous commission blackout period, renewal commissions will begin in January 2027, provided: The member remains actively enrolled. All standard commission eligibility requirements are met. Renewal commissions will be paid at 100% of the applicable CMS FMV for all plans. Commission Payment Method All commissions will be paid on a per-member-per-month (PMPM) basis. Important Submission Requirement To qualify for commissions, new business enrollments must be submitted electronically. Applications submitted via: Paper Fax Handwritten forms will not be eligible for commissions. This also applies to plan or product change requests for existing members.
