HealthSherpa ACA Client Authorization:
Tips for a Smoother Process
Check the phone number and email before you send. Requests go to the contact information on the application.
Do not create a new or duplicate application to get around bad contact information. CMS will flag or cancel duplicates.
Give your clients a heads up. The text or email comes from HealthSherpa, not from your number. Client communication help and information is available here.
Links expire after 15 minutes. Clients can click Get new link to receive a new one.
You get 3 sends per client in a rolling 24 hours, which is 3 by email and 3 by text.
Sending while you are on the phone with the client works best. Bulk sends work better after you have given clients a heads up.
If ID verification fails, have the client try another ID, another device, or another verification option before calling the Marketplace.
