Florida Blue 2027: Who Clients Call for What
Florida Blue Medicare's 2027 care partners, mail order pharmacies, and directories you can share with clients
A new Florida Blue member calls you in January because they don't know who handles their hearing aids, where to order OTC items, or which number to call about a dentist. Every one of those calls is a chance to look like the agent who has it handled, if you have the answer ready.
Florida Blue's Central Florida Medicare Broker Manager, shared the 2027 Care Partners Directories for HMO and PPO plans and for BlueMedicare Focus (HMO C-SNP), along with Florida Blue's mail order pharmacies. Both directories carry CMS approval codes, so you can share them with clients.

Diabetes supplies: Covered under the DME benefit at in-network retail and home delivery pharmacies. Preferred CGMs (FreeStyle Libre and Dexcom) don't need prior authorization. HMO members can also get select supplies from CareCentrix, and insulin pumps must come through CareCentrix.

The Focus C-SNP directory also walks members through provider confirmation of their qualifying condition, their Interdisciplinary Care Team led by an RN Case Manager, completing their Health Risk Assessment, and building their Individualized Care Plan.
