Your Aetna Contacts and Training for AEP
Who to Call at Aetna This AEP, and Where to Train
Know who covers your area and which training you still need before the selling season
A Think Agent enrollment stalls in the middle of AEP, a client is waiting on the line, and you're not sure who covers your area at Aetna anymore. Knowing exactly who to call turns that into a quick fix instead of a lost afternoon.
This post pulls together Aetna Medicare's broker training calendar, organized by what you need to learn, along with Aetna's contact lists for every Broker Manager, Sales Director, and Territory Sales Leader. Bookmark it and come back whenever you need a session or a name.
Find the Training You Need
Aetna's broker training runs through its agent training calendar where you can browse every session and register.
2027 product training for your market. Local Broker Managers run 2027 MA/MAPD product training covering Aetna's 2027 plan offerings in their area. Several sessions are listed by Aetna as required 2027 market-specific training, so check with your Broker Manager if you haven't completed yours.
Enrollment and broker tools. Think Agent training shows you how to navigate and complete enrollments in Aetna's Think Agent tool. Producer World overview sessions walk through the Aetna Medicare Producer World tool, and Aetna Marketing Portal (AMP) training covers how to find and order compliant, customizable marketing materials.
Retail events at CVS. Retail Event Readiness is the training Aetna requires before you can host retail marketing events at CVS locations, including how to request, set up, and manage those events compliantly.
Special Needs Plans. D-SNP and C-SNP sessions cover eligibility, enrollment, and what changes for 2027. Depending on your market, that includes D-SNP selling in demonstration counties and new SSBCI requirements in Texas, and Medicaid MCO alignment in Kentucky.
SSBCI and Extra Supports Wallet changes for 2027. Aetna's national sessions covered the new 2027 eligibility requirements, what they mean for members, and how to communicate benefit changes compliantly. Those sessions ran from August through late September, so if you missed them, your Broker Manager is the person to ask.
Growing your book. Portfolio Selling sessions cover cross-selling Aetna's ancillary products, including Medicare Supplements, stand-alone dental, final expense, and cancer, heart attack, and stroke plans.
Time with your Broker Manager. Office hours, Coffee Club meetups, and Medicare Shop Talk (an open forum for agents with Aetna less than nine months or new to Medicare) give you direct time to talk through AEP strategy, product questions, and anything else on your list.
Sessions Still on the Calendar
Most of Aetna's summer training has already run, but 2027 product training is still scheduled in several states through November, and Ohio sessions continue into March 2027. The full training schedule, with dates, times, your Broker Manager, and a registration link for each session, is in the spreadsheet below. If you don't see a session for your area, reach out to your Broker Manager directly.
Find Your Aetna Contacts
Broker Managers cover specific states and submarkets, so start by finding your area in the Broker Manager list. Sales Directors and Territory Sales Leaders oversee the larger markets those Broker Managers sit in.
